Archer’s on the Pier is located directly on Rockland’s pristine waterfront. Come enjoy an innovative and tasty menu for lunch and dinner created with the best sustainable seafood and local produce. If you stop in on Sunday, we offer a light fare for brunch while you enjoy Jazz playing softly in the background. Sit out on our large deck and watch the windjammers drift by as you relish the fresh sea air. You will also notice the ferry that transports locals and visitors to and from Vinalhaven and North Haven from Rockland’s port.

I'm not quite understanding all these rave reviews. The food was ok, but I wasn't blown away, especially for the prices they charge. $17 for a cup of lobster chowder? Maybe in the Summer that price is justified, but not in February. The service was very slow as well. Our server seemed to disappear for 10 minutes at a time, and the rest of the staff was scrambling to make up for the absence. Perhaps I was just there on an off night? I don't think I'll be back. There are less expensive places in the area with better food and better views.

We loved it! The staff, atmosphere and food were awesome.

Dinner was AMAZING! We had an over the top seafood pasta dish, the lazy lobster, and a haddock platter. Generous portions perfectly prepared. 4 stars because atmosphere was a little louder than we prefer and appetizers (coconut shrimp and fried calamari) were ok, but not up to the level of the meal.
